Target - never hurts to try!

been reading on the blog that not all softsoap ensemble deals are available in all targets. i thought mine was one of them! the regular price for softsoap ensemble was $6, so i never did buy it, since i thought it wasn't a 'great' deal yet. just yesterday i read from some other mommies' blogs that softsoap were on clearance at target for $5.10 (but price may vary!). as i was strolling along target, i see they are on sale for $4.20 here! so i calculated quickly- with a $2 manuf. coupon, plus a $2 target coupon, it would only be 20 cents to buy either one with pump, or the two refill pack. since i had 2 sets of each printed out from before, i decided to buy one each. i figure even without the giftcard special, it was still an 'awesome' deal for a total of 40 cents plus tax.

as i was checking out, i was suprised when the register gave me a $5 giftcard for the purchase to 2 softsoap items! i've been shopping at this target the past few weeks and never was this giftcard special advertised, NO SIGN whatsoever. i even took the time to ask a target employee who also told me there was NO SPECIAL. but there is! the computer can't go wrong.

i even took it to the self price scanner because another mommy had mentioned if there is indeed a giftcard special, it will show up on the scanner. it DID NOT show up on the self scanner. again i was lucky to have had 2 sets of coupon with me, and decided to purchase 2 of them! and it was also on sale! so technically i made money off this deal!

i just want to urge all mommies who haven't try taken advantage of the deal because they had thought there was no giftcard special to go for it! since it's also on clearance, price is lowered, it doesn't hurt to try! good luck!!
